Overview
About Me
I'm a graduate student in Detroit. I love working with children and young people. I began traveling abroad several years ago and wish I could explore this world full time. I have the summer off from graduate school and hope to see as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's affordable and I hope to make new friends along the way! I would like to hear about the low key places where I can get a great coffee and just chill out.
Interests
I love music and would love to experience different styles internationally. I also love animals so any couch surf host with animals is a +.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I am open to it all. My vibe is mostly indie, alternative, ethereal electronic. Music I'm listening to right now... Local Natives, Dirty Projectors, FKJ, Father John Misty.
Books: Currently reading The Art of Getting Lost.
Movies: Just watched Moonlight! So good. Other faves are Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Tommy Boy, Inglorious Basterds.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I renovated a hoarders house and it is now the palace I call home.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm learning Spanish right now! I'm planning to spend a month in Argentina this summer volunteering in the schools and taking an immersive Spanish course.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My bright personality! Great conversation, love of music, and philosophy.
