Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discover new ways of living, reconnect with myself, meet like-minded people, and get my ass to ass Patagonia.
ABOUT ME
Passionate about the environment and sustainability, literature, food, wine/beer,travel,music, hiking/camping, soccer, increasingly agriculture (specifically permaculture), and most of all the process of discovery. I'm taking to the road again to reconnect with parts of myself that I feel like I've lost, and lose parts of myself that need disconnecting. At this time, the name of the game is Patagonia: my sights are set on a rambling, slow moving journey through all its glory. Just as important for me, however, is to find some cool people and hopefully benefit from their wisdom.
PHILOSOPHY
Be present, be conscious, and practice mindfulness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Frankly, I am just getting started with couchsurfing, but am excited about the prospects. I would love to host open minded people when ever it is that I do drop off this current shoe string and settle in a place for a while.
Beyond that, at this time, I am very interested in meeting/staying with folks with advice to share, perspective to lend, or any other matter of shared experience
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Extremely limited. Having said that, the only formal CS experience I have was a truly incredible one. I met will I think will be a life-long friend in the beautiful country of Panama.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Just about anything
Movies:
Books: Again, just about anything. I love Spanish/Latin American literature, and recently dove back in to Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Jorge Luis Borges to get into the SudA-state-of-mind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a week in mid-spring hiking through the Swiss Alps, hoping from deserted Swiss barn to deserted Swiss barn (thank you, anonymous Swiss multiple-property-owners). Concluded with getting a lift out of the snowy peaks, back to civilization, by a maintenance crew that happened upon my friend and I, on some anonymous, beautiful mountain side. (I respect personal property, please have no doubts)
