ABOUT ME

I am an easy going chick that loves life and experiencing everything it has to offer!

I have been to University (probably some of the craziest years of my life!)
Moved my butt to Sydney to nurse in a big time city hospital, have been a through and through emergency nurse since I started!
But, I have had this passion to travel since I turned 18, I have been putting career goals first, now it is time to change. I have put my career goals aside to achieve some life goals and see the world while I am at it!!

I probably can and will chat your ear off about anything and everything! I love talking to people about their own personal goals and achievements and things they have done that really mean something to them. Getting to know people is half the fun of travelling!

I am clean (except this one time, when I climbed to Everest base camp, couldn't shower for 2 weeks!) and tidy, I am respectful of other people's things and privacy as I would expect of my own. I laugh at my own jokes, love to dance and sing (neither of which well) like no-one is watching!
My friends are my world and I open my arms wide to new people and new experiences!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling is as much about the people that you meet as the places that you go! I am travelling at the moment, but would love to give back to the CS community in the future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am pretty new to the CS website, but have surfed with friends and friends of friends before! So far all my experiences have been super positive!

Interests

Anything outdoors.
I am a fit, sporty chick, have been all my life and just love getting out amongst the day, whether it be hiking, swimming, climbing, kayaking, running... whatever, I LOVE it!
I have also dabbled a little in surfing, snowboarding and wake boarding and love all 3 however, I am in definite need of more practise!

I am a lover of all kinds of music
I dig the Aussie band Boy and Bear
I love Mumford and Sons, Pheonix, Lumineers, Alt-J, Regina Spektor, Kate Miller Heidke, Florence nd the Machine, Angus and Julia Stone, Frank Ocean, Birds of Tokyo, Foster the People, The National, Bon Iver, Tallest Man on Earth... I could just go on and on... I must also give notable mention to anything from the 80's, you have my heart retro style!!

I love real life experience books and am reading Marching Powder currently! My other possibly all time favourite book, hitch hikers guide to the galaxy - LOVED IT!

Movies, I really just watch a bit of everything!

Teach, Learn, Share

Open to all kinds of new things as long as people are willing to teach I am willing to learn.
I can offer some very interesting over dinner discussion (depending on how strong you stomach is) about nursing and medical topics, I also have some pretty neat pictures!
