I'm a college student in the US. Not completely sure what I'm doing, but I love languages and study Arabic and Spanish. I love to write stories and learn new things (especially but not limited to languages). I also love history and modern art. I'm a huge fan of theatre, especially musical theatre, so please let me know if you need tips for getting cheap Broadway tickets!

I took a gap year before college and got the opportunity to travel outside of the US for the first time. I spent a few months living with a host family in Morocco and then walked the Camino de Santiago (Camino Frances) in Spain. I enjoy talking to people about my experiences abroad as well as back home and I love learning about other people's lives and travels!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: hayley kiyoko, phoebe bridgers, bleachers, musicals (some faves: bare: a pop opera, head over heels, fun home, the great comet, spring awakening)

Books: hard to pick a favorite. I read a lot of YA fiction, some of my favorites are: They Both Die At The End, Not Your Sidekick, and A Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue. My favorite classic would be Anne of Green Gables. I also love comic books; Runaways is my all-time favorite series!

Movies: anything marvel or Studio Ghibli

I also watch a lot of Netflix, my go-to recommendation as a queer Cuban-American is One Day at a Time 🇨🇺

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

⛰ hiked Akchour waterfalls near Chefchoauen, Morocco! Was my first time hiking and I was positive I was going to die, but it was so worth it! 🏞
