ABOUT ME

My name is Jaimie Atkinson. I did a study abroad in Brisbane Australia. It is there that I really fell in love with traveling and made it a mission to see as much of the world as I could. My best friend Stephanie
Petrakos and I will be starting a 6 month Journey around the world. We are starting in Dublin first! We honestly want to go everywhere from Germany, to France, Italy, Greece, Norway... honestly anywhere!

I LOVE food... Like LOVE LOVE! I am willing to try almost anything..
Just recently I tried Haggis... Didn't know what it was till after and quite frankly I am very grateful I didn't know.. But it was an experience and after all life is all about experiences!!

I love the water... A perfect day for me would be by a body of water all day... Ocean.. Lake.. Pond.. Puddle ;)
I love to watch the water and waves.. It's very hypnotizing to me. I am completely content and at home by the water..

That's why I have come to the conclusion that I must be a mermaid... I have no fear of depths, but great fear of shallow living.

I also love to dress up honestly whenever I can.. Whether it be for zombie prom and I am a Marilyn Monroe zombie... Or Halloween where last year I was ursula! I am very creative so I use design as my outlet.

I love exploring new cities. It's such a strange and magical feeling to come to a city and not know anything about it or how to get around.. And with in a few days you feel as though you made it your new home..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am very new to the couch surfing experience but friends of mine said this was a great way to connect with people in different areas.

Interests

I love to explore, and hike! However I do love to relax by the beach as well!Going to a local pub for a pint and listening to cultural music is a perfect day!
I would say that I am adventurous and up for most anything... There might be those rare instances where I might say no to something if it's too dangerous!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I could only pick one amazing thing it would be sky diving over the great barrier reef in Australia and seeing a sea turtle... but I hope to top that experience soon!
