ABOUT ME

Hi!

I've been traveling since January 2014. I volunteered for 3 months in Cambodia, completed my yoga teacher training in Bali, and have been teaching yoga at a resort in southern Thailand. My next adventure is to travel to Australia for a year on a working holiday visa and I arrive in Brisbane this February. I am hoping to save some money by couch surfing for a few weeks while I look for work in Queensland. I am super laid back and am happy to contribute by cleaning, cooking, teaching yoga, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to live in the moment. I am a certified yoga teacher and adhere to a lot of the teachings and readings of yogic philosophy. I believe my purpose in life is to find things that inspire me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a little bit of everything. I'm laid back, but I like to go out and have fun every now and then, I love trying new things and meeting new people. I love being outdoors and learning new hobbies/sports. Some of my most recent hobbies I've learned are snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking... But I want to try everything! I believe my purpose in life is to find things that inspire me so I can inspire others and right now new experiences and the passions of others are what inspire me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet! A little nervous about the whole meeting a stranger on the internet concept so if you want to meet up at a public place first I'd be a little more comfortable!

Interests

I enjoy doing things outdoors like snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, attending music festivals, and hanging out at the beach. Also, I find that my life is most engaging when I am trying and seeing new things and places.

I think what I'm doing right now is the most amazing thing I've ever done. I've always dreamed of traveling the world and here I am.. Living my dream!

I'm a certified yoga teacher and would be happy to teach some one on ones in exchange for a couch and a shower :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to help in anyway I can... Cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, yoga lessons... I am grateful for the opportunity to save some money while I look for work so I am happy to offer help in return!
