About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Fulfilling my dream of travelling whenever possible. Cycling around, living a simple and sustainable life, with minimal consumption and trying to connect on a deeper level than social media.

ABOUT ME

A 42 year old world citizen, full of energy. I studied a University degree I´ve never used, but my real passion is to teach and to learn. I love to work with people, talk to them, learn from their experiences and share points of view. I love a good discussion. I´m a compulsive music lover, everything in my life is related to music and I can´t get enough!!
I used to be a vegetarian and I´m concerned about mother Nature. I also want to do a big trip by bike, feeling free and independent from anything but just my own phisical and strenght. I love CS, it fits perfectly with my philosophy and confirms my theory that there´s still a lot of good people in this messed up world.

PHILOSOPHY

Smile to life and life will smile you back

What makes ne a unique person worth to host?
I am very sociable and respectful, well educated, flexible and easy going. I also understand people's spaces and I am fully aware that I will be staying at other people's homes, with it's own rules, habits, traditions and peculiarities. I am an "early bird" and I am ready to help in a wide range of tasks. I love cooking, gardening, animals, kids...so it will be very easy to make me happy in different environments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I talk to everybody about CS, even people who is not interested at all. The word of mouth seems to work!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted people in Madrid when I had my own place and I stayed in several couches also. I have been involved organising meet ups in Madrid and I had a really good experience doing it.
I hosted a couple of people in Dortmund and I had a dream-trip in Stockholm , surfing couches from amazing people and meeting other CS members. In that trip I became CS addict!!Afterwards, I made a bike trip from Dortmund to Spain surfing a couple of wonderful couches, but because of my messy planning I had to stop riding before I wanted.
I have surfed couches in Malaysia, the Philippines, India and San Francisco, having really wonderful experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling around the world for 7 months with just a small backpack. Volunteering in different projects and improvising the route
To swim in the Amazon surrounded by piranhas (peaceful ones). To dive in the Caribean sea. To live a Rave party in Cádiz. To ride a bike with my home on it through Germany. I've seen wild howling monkeys in the Columbian jungle...outstanding!!! Sleep in a buddist temple in Japan, visited the Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, ride the bike around the Angkor Temples with extreme heat. Visiting Tikal in Guatemala under the storm at sunset. Swimming with nurse sharks in Belize. Swimming against the stream inside a cave with just a candlelight in Guatemala. Finding affordable accommodation in Central London...and keeping it more than 5 years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic salsa and spanish cooking.
I would love to learn percussion and more cooking.
I would love to play tennis with everybody, and to ride the bike as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences, jokes, recipes and a good laugh.
