Overview
About Me
I love languages, cultures and meeting people from other countries. I believe the biggest example of empathy is global humanism. There are few things that can give me more satisfaction than having an interesting conversation and then discovering a new country, a new language, a new culture and new and fascinating human being.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My main goal on Couchsurfing is to have the opportunity of learning languages and all their cultures, which means that I'm here not only because it would be profitable for my career, I'm also here because I want to meet friends from everywhere

Music, Movies, and Books
since one of my hobbies is playing the violin, I like playing what I use to listen (and obviously, what I'm able to play since I'm sometimes a lazy week-end violinist), I love Rock music, Ska, Reggae, salsa, and specially blues, which is what I play the most with my violin.
I have read some books that I really enjoyed. Some examples are ''Cien años de soledad'' (One Hundred Years of Solitude), by Gabriel García Márquez, 1984, by George Orwell, and ''les fleurs du mal'' (The flowers of evil) by Charles Baudelaire. I still have not read any novel in Portuguese but I will soon.
I really like Colombian cinematography, one of my favorite movies is ''El abrazo de la serpiente'' (Embrace of the Serpent) which is a film based on amazonian cultutes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
since I really love language, I can teach Spanish to foreigners, I really enjoy sharing my languages and culture.
Manizales is the a small city that can offer unexpected places to visit, our hilly city has many beautiful places that I like to visit. El bosque popular el prado, Cerro de oro and Gallinazo are some examples. We also have many concerts and cultural events that I would love to share with travelers.
