Hi! My name is Martín and I'm 29, from Madrid :D

Things I'm into: music, theatre, climbing, biking, van-camping, bread making, cooking. Professionally I have worked recently as a software developer and music producer, but I'm taking some time off :)

I have used CS a lot in life, both as a host and as a guest. It's the best way of travelling I know, so I try to share time and experiences with CS people every chance I have.

I consider myself as an optimist, creative, easygoing, and I love exploring. And jokes, I like making jokes and laughing at them :D

When I'm in Madrid I'll be pleased to host bold travellers that dare to come! Ehehe. Logistics rule though, mainly schedules and my flatmate's demands, but we can talk about it :)

There are so many different people and things in the world and I want to meet as many as possible, so there is no time to waste :D

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I'm here because I think travelling is always more interesting when you meet people that'll get you the opportunity to truly get to know the place you are in, the culture and lifestyle. I don't want to see only monuments, I'd like to know how life goes in the places I go.

So that's why, whenever I travel, I try to do it this way. For me is very important to find someone from the place I'm visiting, just to talk, learn things, and share some time :)

I have done CS many times already, and every one of them was nice, unforgettable and made my trips really special. And when people came to my place in my town was really nice to have them, show them my city and lifestyle and know their cultures as well.

Interesses

I love music. I spend many hours making and recording music, and learning new ways to make it better. When
I out I like meeting new people and doing new things every time.
Now I am more into theatre: improvisation theatre and political theatre.
I like studying, when what I'm studying is interesting for me ;) I think there are a lot of interesting things in the world, and every chance is good to know more.

I like going to the countryside, and travelling for several days by bike or by foot, hiking, seeing amazing views and going into the adventure!
I like travelling, knowing new places and hiking. I have tasted the CS experience and I think It's a great way of travelling!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like rock, ska, swing, rap, metal (sometimes), recently I'm really into electronic music as well.
I prefer fantasy and sci-fi books, such as Lord of the rings or Game of thrones and action movies with a good storyline (not the usual pium pium). I prefer to watch depp movies on my own, but I really enjoy watching movies with friends as well and commenting them in live.

I play guitar and other instruments. Also, I'm good at maths and physics, so I can be a help in that issues :)

I like good conversations and talking about many different things, so I'll try to teach whatever I can and learn as much as I can. I can even give an introductory Spanish course if you want to learn that language ;)
Besides, if I have an instrument I can play some music for your hearing :)

Also I loove cooking. I try to improve in every chance I get. I like the plates I cook, so maybe you'll like them too!
