About Me

Originally from London but I currently live and work in Reykjavík, Iceland - which can I say, is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. For work I’m a trainee Visual Merchandiser for H&M so I guess I’m into fashion. I constantly crave new experiences and find sharing them with other people the most rewarding thing. I’m super chilled but really enjoy being active too. I could be described as ‘cheeky’ and out going, but I can also be a little shy at times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simply to connect with locals. As a Londoner, I know the best places to drink, eat and party in the city - places tourists would never get to experience. I know the greatest ways to experience its culture. I want to stay with people who can truly show me what their home has to offer. I want real and memorable experiences, whether it’s a deep convo in a coffee shop, a hike, a night out, a walk around an art museum or just a day hanging out in the park.

Interests

I love art and music - take me or point me to some museums please! I work out too, and focus on my health... most of the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where do I even begin? My taste is quite eclectic when it comes down to it. I listen to anything from Jimi Hendrix to techno/house music - depending on the mood. I love Sci-Fi, Fantasy and horror movies, same with TV shows and books. Have the typical western obsession with Japanese culture and can’t wait to visit in Nov 19’.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in the countryside of Jamaica for 2 months. I have yet to experience anything as freeing. It was awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: As a musician I can teach you loads of stuff. From Neo-soul jazz chords on the piano to Bossa Nova and flamenco guitar grooves.

Learn: Everything you have to teach. Honestly, I’m so open.

Share: I have a keen interest in food and would love to share tips/recipes and whatever else. I would love to meet cool and genuine people from around the world and share experiences with them. I’m after culture and friendships.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my British culture and all of the amazing things I’ve learnt from the places I’ve lived/visited.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Netherlands, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
