My name is Jake, I am 19 years old and I was born and raised in London.

I work in Unified Communications, which is basically all about voice technologies such as Skype, landline phones and VOIP phones (Voice Over Internet Protocol, which are basically phones that work over the internet instead of using the phone lines)

When I'm not at work I like to socialize with friends, play games online with strangers (always a lot of fun!) and manage to spend all my money on pointless things online.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing currently to find someone cool to stay with for my trip to Amsterdam on the 11th May, and to hopefully start hosting my guest bedroom off soonish in London.

Music: I enjoy all music that is in the charts currently, as well as some classics such as David Bowie and Queen

Movies: I enjoy a wide range of movies, but a rough guide is that I enjoy Superhero action movies, any movie that casts Jonah Hill or Seth Rogen and Movies that make you think such as Mr. Nobody]

Books: I am not much of a reader as it takes too long!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Interrailing, I traveled around Europe by Train visiting Amsterdam, Munich, Cologne, Berlin, Prague, Salzburg and other places with a few friends. It was a lot of fun and we met so many awesome people.
