Hi I’m Jake. I’m from London, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 originally, I then moved to Swansea, Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 to study and currently live in Cyberjaya (south of Kuala Lumpur), Malaysia 🇲🇾.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing to learn more about local culture in a new place, rather than just the usual tourist spots.

I like meeting new and interesting people that wouldn’t normally. There is something special about opening your home up to new people and taking a chance on strangers.

Interests

I love a bit of nature and biology. I’m interested in conservation and am hoping to make a career preserving the environment in some way. I’m interested in leaning about different people, language and lifestyles.

I am attempting to improve my photography skills here in Asia, by taking pictures of the people I meet along the way.

I recently learnt to dive and am loving exploring and learning about the world under the water.
