Hi I am Jake. I am from South Africa, but right now I am living and teaching in Beijing, China. I am 32 years old, white and male. I love adventure and I enjoy the outdoors. I am a rugby fanatic and I will travel a long way to catch a game. I am engaged to a lovely girl. I love travelling and I enjoy meeting new people. I am an extremely tidy person (I even make my bed when I stay in a hotel). Being polite and respectful are two things that are very important to me. I am sure I will be a pleasure to have over.

I love travelling. I love meeting new people. Couchsurfing is the place to be if you want to do those two things. Travelling and staying in a hotel removes you from truly getting to know the people of a country or area. Living in their home is the best way to experience how people truly are and indeed what it means to from a certain country.
