About Me

Hey there fellow travellers!
I am Jake, travelled a little bit of this wonderful world already but can’t really get enough - it is addicting in a very good way.
Back in reality I live in Berlin, just finished my Masters degree and searching for inspiration what to do with it (since capitalism is quite evil, it’s no easy decision). Moved to the city a couple of years ago and most of the times still lovin it - however it can get anoying from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a profile many years ago - then I stopped, the profile disappeared mysteriously and now I am back. I still believe in that travelling opens your mind and makes you a more reflective person. I also believe that travellers should share more experiences, help each other and get closer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: downtempo electronical, spherical classical, drum n bass, trans progressive, psy forest, alternative, german hip hop ....

Movies: I am bad with names but basically I really enjoy weird movies, like trainspotting, enter the void or memento. Got anything similar on mind?

Books: I really love Haruki Murakami. Apart from that I am still trying on the books of Karl Marx - it’s tough though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking through Armenia and Georgia —Getting invited by locals to enjoy their awesome hospitality.

Teach, Learn, Share

Share & teach: good vibes, easy-going, some business skills (I actually learned some interesting things in uni), handicrafts, vegetable-growing, yoga, cooking ...

Learn: meditation, more yoga, programming, physics, psychology, making cheese, more cooking ...

What I Can Share with Hosts
