Overview
About Me
I'm an architectural videographer by trade and freelance filmmaker and colourist (quite literally) by night. I grew up in Hobart but have lived in Melbourne for over ten years now. I love talking about film, music, travel and life over a bottle of red!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm about to go travelling soon and I'd like to meet local people in these places when I do. So I want to return the favour before I go and host some people! Meeting locals is the best way to get to know a place, its people and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically I listen to a lot of post-punk, rock and 90's vintage nostalgia hip hop. Classic acts I can talk about for hours include Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Sound, Johnny Thunders, Beastie Boys, Deltron 3030 and Gang Starr.
Favourite filmmakers range from Ingmar Bergman, Jean-Luc Godard, the Coen Brothers, Tom Tykwer and more recently, Tom Ford.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a year backpacking through Latin America in 2008. Starting from Mexico, I travelled all the way down into Argentina and then up through Brazil. It was an amazing experience and I'd love to get back over there one day!
Teach, Learn, Share
As a former Hobartian, I'm an expert on all things Tasmania, so if you're stopping through Melbourne en route to the apple isle, please feel free to ask me anything! I have a strong interest in the arts, so if there's anything going on with live music, I'd be very happy to suggest gigs, venues etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My humour! I'm always down for a great conversation.
