About Me

Currently living in Monterey. I travel often, mostly backpacking and climbing, and would be happy to house anyone who brings with them kindness. Would love to grab some beers, play music, and/or show you around this beautiful town :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel often and meeting and staying with locals is the best way to experience a new place, rather than overpaying to stay in a stale hotel room. I decided hosting would be a great way to give back to other travelers and to share this beautiful place that I’m fortunate enough to live. I would also love to meet some interesting people from new places and form connections and relationships with people all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love any and all music, and always looking for recommendations
I read often. some of my favorites being Ishmael, Sapiens, Origin of Consciousness, the Alchemist, and many many more. Books are better shared.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhmm I’ve backpacked through Patagonia, and have been rock climbing in some very beautiful places. I also completely rebuilt and redesigned a ‘78 Dodge Van to be a fully off-grid tiny camper for adventures and climbing and such. Maybe that’s less cool now since everyone seems to be on that #vanlife

Teach, Learn, Share

I have played music (mainly guitar) for many years and love to teach or jam with anyone who plays or wants to learn! I’m a decent cook, and always love to share food, or just a cup of coffee, tea, or a beer. I can share tons of knowledge about backpacking and climbing as well. I’ve also recently rebuilt an old ‘78 Dodge van and taught myself a ton about auto mechanics, 12v electrical, and woodworking. Super happy to share ideas about that if you’re interested in that sort of thing :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, beer, cooking, kindness, good conversations, general handyman repairs if you need it!

Countries I’ve Visited
