I am graduating from Greenfield Community College this semester and I will be at UMASS Amherst Honors College in the fall. I am a whitewater raft guide on the Deerfield river. I play guitar and drums and I yoyo. Most importantly I can cook a world class breakfast sandwich.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am going on a trip through South America with my two best friends, Eddie and Forest. We all met when we were five and now the time has come to see the world. Eddie has been in Latin America for a year so he is quite proficient at speaking spanish.

Estoy en un viaje de Sudamerica con mis dos mejores amigos Eddie y Forest. Nos conocimos cuando teniamos 5 anos y ahora estamos viendo el mundo juntos. Eddie ha estado en Latinoamerica por mas que un ano entonces sabe bien hablar espanol.

Eddie and I WWOOFed (World Workers On Organic Farms) in Ireland when I turned 18. We realized that farming isn't the life for us but we had an amazing time and we both learned our love of travel and experiencing other cultures.

30 day backpacking trip in the Absaroka mountains. It was 21 days before we ran into another person.

Hice un camino de 30 dias como mochilero en las montanas de Absaroka en Wyoming. Pasaron 21 dias antes de que vimos a una otra persona.

Teach, Learn, Share

Eddie taught me guitar and we are both lifelong learners. Last year Eddie spent eight months in Peru teaching English. I used to yoyo in competitions so I can show you some tricks. I even made it to the world yoyo contest in Orlando Florida a couple times.

Eddie me ha ensenado la guitarra y seguimos aprendiendo nuevas cosas por toda la vida. Eddie ha ensenado ingles en varios partes del mundo y yo ensenaba como hacer yoyo a los ninos, asi que te podria ensenar algunos trucos.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We will bring the jams. Eddie has worked at a Subway for the past Four years (excluding an 8 month period he was in Peru). I have been working in a deli for a year and a half so we are both seasoned sandwich artisans that are more than happy to pick up some food and make some fun cooking happen.
