About Me

Hi! My normal description is below. I have an unusual proposition in these times of coronavirus: I have a nice apartment in Bastille, Paris; is there someone who has a place somewhere by the sea, maybe in the mountains, who would like to swap apartments for a week or maybe longer? Normal couchsurfing is difficult now, so this could be a nice way to be somewhere else for a bit!

Salut!

---

I’m from London but I live in Paris where I work for UNESCO on science and sustainable development. I studied philosophy at university, in particular political philosophy, and I’m really interested in thinking about how we can improve our world! I love to travel - I went to South America for 7 months in 2014, I’ve travelled all around Europe and rode across the UK on my mountain bike where I had some great experiences on couchsurfing. I like to use couchsurfing as a way to meet people, to interact in a personal way, and to get a true flavour of a place alongside someone who is local Beside all that I love music, particularly rock, but I played drums in a jazz band and I also play guitar. I love film - Paul Thomas Anderson, Charlie Kaufman, Tarantino - and I enjoy reading.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've decided to get out of the house and attempt a massive cycling trip across the UK. I'm starting in London and hoping to reach Scotland. I thought couchsurfing might be a fun thing to do on the way as well, and am hoping to return the favour when I get back to my place in London!
