About Me

I'm 25 years old from merry old England. I've been travelling the last year around new Zealand, Australia and south east Asia-It's my first proper travel trip (On my own too) and wow, it's been incredible! Definitely safe to say I've got the travel bug now!

I love exploring, learning about local cultures and trying new things!

I'm into deep chats and thrive from learning about other peoples life experiences.

At home I work within mental health services-I love my job and improving the life of peoples lives living on the planet is a passion of mine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend recommended this site to meet me as a good way to meet local people for a unique travelling experience-I'd love to get some travel tips, have some decent chats and perhaps make some new friends too!

Interests

I'm into healthy living, vegetarianism and living well (well at home anyway, it's a little more tricky when travelling!).

I'm passionate about learning from others and love a good chat.

I'm pro activist at home, human rights and general liberal wannabe hippy-well some may say (Oh the cliche!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well I might be a little bias but I think British films are the best!

I love any genre of films but especially scifi (massive geek), horror and yes, I have to admit animated kids films!

I love reading books about spiritualism, the planet, culture and Buddhism-Currently reading George Orwells's Burmeese days-A definite must read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ah there's so many things I've done that I felt was amazing-Skydiving from the highest point in the UK tandem for charity comes to mind first!

I know many people have done this-but it was an amazing achievement.

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that there's a breed of shark in the green lands that is reportedly lives to around 300 years old?

and did you also know that tree frogs in the arctic freeze when temperatures plumets below freezing, their blood freezes, then they thaw and hop away-alive and well...

Just 2 of a few random facts I'll be able to share with you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice cup of tea, honest chats, good stories and maybe a cultural exchange-you tell me about your culture/life and I'll tell you mine.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Cambodia, France, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Thailand
