About Me

I recently just finished school building project in Nepal, working with All Hands and Hearts non profit disaster response organization. After this was complete I traveled through Northeast India and Myanmar. What a beautiful world we live in!
I have all sorts of hobbies but mainly riding motorbikes, trekking/backpacking , and writing music. I make heavy metal. I love all types of music.
Just another traveler who just wants to meet people because I never want to stop learning.
Teach me things and I teach you things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel and have a more personal and intimate experience.
To learn about where I'm traveling through. It can be difficult to find the points of interest to see and ones to avoid while traveling through unexplored territory.

Music, Movies, and Books

ART is a huge part of who I am. To me art is very important. As well I am artist myself I write music. Music I love-Heavy metal, electronic, reggae, dub, lots of ways to get my body moving.
Music can effect my mood and psych so much sometimes I call it the rock n roll witch putting me under the spell. I collect records and VHS tapes.
I love music festivals and hope to find some while travelling.
I have a list of books I do love. I enjoy books about conservationism and the natural world. Fiction- I do enjoy Stephen King
Movies are influential to me. I see them as a dream that someone has brought to life. The list goes on and on for movies. I enjoy sci-fi, sci-fi thriller, fantasy, horror, art.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking the beautiful natural lands of USA, I have more but criteria just says "one thing"!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Everybody has something to teach.
Everybody has something to learn.
For myself the most powerful tool for learning is hands-on.

I have done many random things through my work. Much has been focused on volunteering.

I've done trail building, disaster relief, music studio, wildland firefighting, horticulture, climbed trees for service work, construction, wood working, build schools in Nepal, lead crews in conservation.

I have some schooling, but when it comes down to it, classrooms can be exhausting. Too formulaic at times. Most of my knowledge comes from being in the field, and also from my travels.
Just by having casual comfortable conversation one can learn extensively. While using couchsurfing tell me about where you come from, you know....local lifestyles and traditions. Tell me about the history. Tell me about your walk of life and experiences and how you have gotten to the very specific place you are right now. I shall do the same. We can exchange ideas and knowledge, simply by the classic concept of natural flow of conversation, and that's how we can all teach, learn, and share things about this world.
I can teach you about recording music, gardening, conservationism, trekking through mountains, heavy metal, and what it's like to have grown up in USA and have been able to see it from the outside.
