Hey there, my name's Jake :)

I'm a happy go lucky 25 year old who just wants to play ukulele and travel the world. I'm trying to live life on my own term and live in the present. I'm looking to travel Europe in May and am excited to meet new people and learn about different cultures all over the world. I'd have surfers at my own place, but I already have a friend renting out living room and I live in a small apartment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling the world has always been a dream of mine. I don't want to do toursity things though, my goal is to see what life is like in other countries and make memories that will last forever. I'm considering moving to Europe, but before I do it I want to see what it's really like to live there. Couchsurfing seems like a cool way to meet new people and learn about countries throughout the world.

Interests

I spend a lot of my time playing music or going out to concerts. I'm a big fan of punk, folk, and hip hop music (but I pretty much listen to everything). I've recently gotten into cooking and make some mean cauliflower fried rice. I grew up watching sport and would love to learn rules to new games. I also spend a lot of time doing photography and bring my camera everywhere I go.

I will gladly play you anything from punk music to the Little Mermaid on my ukulele in return for a floor to sleep on. I'm also a good cook and love cooking for people. Oh and I can take some awesome photos for you. I'll make sure to leave your house cleaner than when I got there.
