A novelty. Certified sky diver. Semi-Pro Snowboarder. Just want to do interesting things beyond staring at my computer all day in exchange for a paycheck.

i’ve always been told that i’m somewhat of a novelty. i don’t really subscribe to anything other than being as upfront about who i am from the moment someone gets to know me. i’m a semi-pro snowboarder for the USASA team with sponsors including Columbia Ltd., Nidecker Snowboards & Burton Snowboarding. i also am a certified skydiver which means i don’t need to be latched to an instructor when jumping. i love the feeling of falling at ~100mph (160kmh). i make art and work in a standard office job doing consulting work for one of the Big 4 firms.

but at the end of the day, i’m just Jake. a young professional who wishes i went to school for science instead of business.
