Hi I'm Jake, I'm 22 and im an aspiring travel photographer.

Im eager to travel the world, I love learning new languages, new cultures. I have penpals around the world already, but hoping to make new friends using couchsurfing, by travelling I hope to make my vision which is slow travel a reality, spending a month or longer than 1 week in each country to get fully immersed in the way of life.

Staying with locals is the perfect way to do this.

I'm a very friendly and open minded person, keen to learn or do anything that I don't do on a day to day basis. I will join in with the housework, keep your house tidy.

It doesn't bother me if I don't see the tourist hotpots - all I want is to learn about you, your culture and how you live, eat, what your hobbies are.
