I'm a 25 year old engineer. I currently live in Michigan but I grew up in Iowa and have lived in a few other US states as well. I love trying new things, meeting new people, and seeing new places so I figured this was the site for me!

I like to camp, hike, and canoe. I play lots of sports poorly. I never turn down an invitation to do anything if I can help it. I've never traveled outside the US and Canada but someday I'm going to see the world.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Hiking down the Grand Canyon and spending the night at the bottom is one of my favorite memories. Seeing the canyon change at every turn was truly awe inspiring, and the way the weather and ecology shifted as we descended the canyon was amazing.

Another favorite memory is of hiking on Kesugi ridge near Denali National Park in Alaska. It rained on us basically the whole time, but for just a few minutes there was a gap in the clouds and we could see the mountain range across the valley, then a whole front of storm clouds moving towards us, and then Denali rising above it all.
