We host mostly, but do some surfing too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We just started hosting couchsurfers in December 2012 and have really enjoyed it! Every experience has been great.

Interests

We love walking and biking around town, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, camping, gardening, being on/around the water, and otherwise exploring.
We love to cook delicious vegetarian/vegan meals, enjoy craft beer, play board games (especially Euro-style,) and meet nice people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jake - I love art and architecture, and very much enjoyed spending 3 weeks studying in Paris. Our son was born at home with a midwife, which was an incredible experience.
Kate - Our wedding was my favorite - having all of the people we cared about most in one place at one time was the most amazing feeling ever!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach about gardening, homemade cleaning and bath products, vegetarian cooking, playing guitar, and outdoor recreation.

We'd like to learn about homesteading and permaculture, traveling experiences, cooking, and environmentalism.
