About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just get out there! Starting with Canada, such a huge country and it's a shame I've seen so little of it
ABOUT ME
I'd have to say I'm a well rounded and self-assured individual. I'm reliable, resourceful, very easy to get along with and I try not to take life very seriously causing me to be rather laid back and easy going.
I'm adventerous, outdoorsy, bit of a nerd, appreciate a hard days labour but not for extended periods of time. I rarely get upset and whenever something goes wrong my response is to laugh and make the best of it.
PHILOSOPHY
Take it slow, give the benefit of the doubt, don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy what you can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started becoming an active member the summer of 2014 and so far have been surfing couches, making friends and having great experiences as I made a circuit around the United States.
While I currently unable to host I hope to change that in the near future and give back to this great community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A pure pleasure so far. I love being able to experience new places with the company of a local and CS is the perfect way to accomplish that and then some.
Interests
I enjoy activities such as biking, bouldering, reading, listening to music, watching movies, board games and cold bevs with good company.

Music, Movies, and Books
For movies I like comedy, sci-fi, most things that are quirky or mind bending and I'm getting into more drama/slice of life. Some examples are Fantastic Mr. Fox (and most other things by Wes Anderson), Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Wristcutters: A Love story, Life is Beautiful, Pineapple Express, Chronicle, and many more.
For music I would say I like an eclectic choice of music but most people would sum it up as indie/alternative. A few examples are Sunset Rubdown, Grizzly Bear, Black Lips, Liam Finn, Entire Cities, The Unicorns, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Gogol Bordello, etc.
As for books I like a lot of sci-fi such as Isaac Asimov's Foundation trilogy, Arthur C. Clark's Rama series, C.S. Lewis's Cosmic Trilogy, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress and Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, to name a few.
However, I'll read anything that is written well and is engaging. Huckleberry Finn, The Count of Monte Cristo and Robinson Crusoe are also some of my favorites.
Lastly, I'm a bit of an anime buff as well. Watched way more than I care to admit :P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I feel like this would be easier if my memory wasn't so bad...
Teach, Learn, Share
Not really an expert on anything but I'm pretty good at teaching the things I do know. Kind of the jack of all trades master of none deal.
If you have decent motor skills I could probably get you doing basic juggling by the end of the day.
