About Me

I love people and new experiences. I'm always looking to grow and stretch myself to new things. I have lived in loads of different situations with loads of different types of people and I'm always very kind and helpful to the people I live with.

I'm currently travelling Australia for six months and I want to learn to surf and see loads of new places.
I have been living in Melbourne and playing music on the trains which has been awesome but I'm ready to move on and see more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the community aspect of Couchsurfing, I think it's a brilliant way for people to meet people they could never have met any other way, I'm sure it will lead to new friends and experiences.

Interests

My main aims in life are to play music and travel. I've had a lot of success with this as I play in a band in the UK that is constantly on tour. I'm so happy to be continuing this dream in Australia. People are the jewels of my life, they keep everything interesting and always lead to new experiences and learning opportunities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love latin music and ska and afrobeat and jazz and hip hop and chilled electronica and drum and bass and pop and trap and I will listen to anything you want to show me. I'm no music snob and I love to learn and hear new things.

I love animated movies, my favourite being laid back movies like surfs up or beautiful movies like princess mononoke from studio ghibli.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once abseiled off table mountain in South Africa. This is the highest commercial abseil in the world and is absolutely terrifying, even if you're accustomed to heights it's enough to send a shiver down your spine. halfway down the wall you lower yourself down again disappears and you're left dangling on a rope by a massive overhang. I would love an opportunity to do more things like this.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach drums and basic guitar or piano theory as well as some small singing technique exersizes.

I'm keen to keep learning french and develop my skills.

I can share any amount of effort I am capable of giving, I strive to always be helpful and accommodating.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, Cooking, Friendship. motivation to do new things and a good old fashioned chin wag.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cabo Verde, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Spain, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
