About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm on emission from god :) I'm actually not religious at all, but you could say that I am on a spiritual and agnostic world journey for truth and wisdom.

ABOUT ME

I'm from Northern California, originally.

I am quite the different animal; as compared to most 'men', I suppose. I love talking about the things people usually avoid talking about (self-development, diet and nutrition, family history, childhood/trauma and depression, gender/sexuality, political theory/issues, spirituality/progression, ancient astronaut theory, science, personality), and I'm never uncomfortable discussing such things. That's not to say that I do not enjoy other topics too! I love pets, music, arts, sciences, history, food!, exercise, dreams, travels, health, and happiness! People continue to solidify the theory that I am an INFP; and that feels quite accurate. I am a student of life first and foremost, and my family/friends/loved ones also always come first. I love animals and babies, and pretty much anything cute (or at least I tend to find cuteness and beauty in just about anything). I'm usually very easy going, I am a foodie and love to cook--my diet is extremely important to me. I'm getting better at cutting my own hair and practicing massage. I love being barefoot and in parks/nature at any chance!

PHILOSOPHY

When it really comes down to it I always come back to the most important things in my life: my family, creating a safe and healthy place to share with them, my knowledge base for a healthy and happy life full of organic fruits and veggies, creating my arts, and being kind to as many people as I can. This has allowed me to be the happiest I have ever been in my adult life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to live in Portland, Oregon with my awesome friend and roommate that introduced me to the couch surfing idea. She used to surf so she was excited to finally host, so we hosted many people. (Sorry I do not have the chance to post those positive reviews, it was her couchsurfing acct) It was a great experience, and I'm finally glad to be exploring more of this delightful social travel advantage.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Portland, OR my roommmate and I hosted a series of great travelers from many walks of life. From Taiwan, New Zealand, Canada, New York, Mexico, and Germany :) It felt great to give these awesome travelers a place to crash while they explored the great city of Portland, of which I was so proud and happy to share advice/the kind and progressive atmosphere. I look forward to hosting once more after my current travels!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's actually just easier for me to say what music I do not like: I seriously avoid dubstep, noise, and modern country/adult contemporary and pop. Everything else is A-ok :) But mostly classic rock, motown, indie, prog rock, punk, post punk, experimental, and of course the moods of classical and chill-out come and go. I carry the Labyrinth soundtrack on me.

Indie films, comedies, sci-fi, historical dramas, and a few good series here and there for good measure. And documentaries!

I currently enjoy reading autobiographies and short stories, poetry collections, political history pre-industrial revolution, sci-fi fluff, and farming-dieting help manuals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A most amazing thing just recently was the pilgrimage hike to the montserrat cathedral in Spain.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, let's just start with some fun challenges hey? Juggling, a standing backflip, Tom Kha soup, Biryani, massage, backyard habitats and connectivity, essay/resume writing, organic and natural diet/hygiene, fresh water fish, pools and spas, alpaca farming, yoga, karaoke...

Great music, films, documentaries, poems, stories, love!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories and experiences of all my travels, life here in the beautiful redwoods, some great meals, poetry, and great conversations :)
