I am excited about trying new things, hearing new music and experiencing different cultures. I love the outdoors. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just found out about couch surfing and think its a fantastic idea and I cant wait to get started and meet some amazing people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was really good. The hospitality of the hosts was sweet. I am finding myself recommending this way of accomodation to any one. Its a great way to meet and learn off local people. Also giving back to the host was also fun, teaching them how to slack line and cooking them my Nachos (that has Pinapple in it) SO GOOD.

Interests

My interests include: socialising, rock climbing, slack lining, sea kayaking, camping, skiing, the beach, the snow, music, eating and travelling. Hanging out with friends and meeting new people.
I have just become addicted to Slack lining which i try to teach people any where I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is far and wide. I can't summarize it into one category. Books: crime novels expecially by James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell. Books by Matthew Reilly, David Baldacci and many other authors. Movies, I love comedy and action, I am not a fan of scary movies. But Zoolander is probably one of my favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1.Floated in the Arctic ocean with a Survivor suit on my trip to Lapland in Dec 10
2. Ate a cooked duck head sitting on the side of a Vietnamese road, swapping stories and beer with the locals.
3. I had one of the Best Steaks I have ever eaten in an ally way in Paris France. No one spoke english.
4. Went Dog Sledding in Finland
5. Sat around a Camp fire in England singing memorable songs all night (one such song was "I walked 500 Miles")
There is many, many more but I will add others when I can.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like talking to people about the amazing places I've been and experiences I"ve had and swap stories with them. My uni training has taught me things that I can help others with like bush navigation, wilderness first aid and team building. Also I now own my own slack lining gear and love to teach people. I'm very happy to teach anyone to ski as I love it!
