Computer Science & Mathematics student at the University of Edinburgh. I love food, languages, mathematics, beer, whisky and some other stuff that you'll find out about if we get to know each other!

I spent the past year in Singapore and forgot to turn my profile off, so I got a ton of requests and my response rate dropped to 0%. But I'm back in Edinburgh now and I'll answer your requests.

I like showing people around Edinburgh, cooking for people, being cooked for and learning about languages. Couchsurfing is a pretty good means for all of those things.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite films are anything by Wes Anderson or Quentin Tarantino. Book-wise, I'm a huge fan of Franz Kafka and Kurt Vonnegut, and right now I'm on a Haruki Murakami binge. I'm also a huge fan of Charles Bukowski's poetry.

I like a lot of music, but hip hop is probably the closest to my heart; The Pharcyde, The Roots, Gang Starr, ATCQ, Mos Def, Nas, Chance the rapper. I can listen to anything though, from Icelandic post-rock to Japanese pajama pop.

I love cooking, so maybe I could learn a thing or 2 about your country's cuisine! I'm really just interested in getting to know people, learning about your culture and your language would be a bonus.

So far I've also met a couple of surfers who were interested in applying to my university. Since application time is coming up, I'd be happy to help your with your application too.
