About Me

I am an avid teacher, musician, traveller and adventurer. I enjoy outdoor sports, food, dogs, beer, sunsets, mountains, beaches, films, museums, and most of all music. I love meeting new people and exchanging stories and ideas. I strive to cultivate new connections and enrich my life by exploring the globe and the people who inhabit it. I embrace other cultures and viewpoints, love trying new things, and I generally live for variety, spontaneity, and love. I have been a musician for most of my life and play and sing in many styles on several instruments. I am an excellent cook and enjoy cooking for friends. I read a lot, climb rocks, hike, snowboard, bike, and play ultimate frisbee as hobbies. I love deep intellectual conversation, all things nerdy, and people who are passionate and articulate about what they do. I look forward to making new friends through couch surfing!!
