Hello all. I'm Jake I'm 24 years old from Leeds, UK and I've been living in China for 2 years now. I've spent two years in Beijing, and recently moved to Haikou, Hainan Island.

You may want to come and stay with me if you're interested in exploring the island. I'm new to haikou myself, so would like to meet people to hang around with. Sanya is only 1 hour45 by train away from my house and the train station is just down the road.

I work Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

I am free to travel/roam/explore Saturday and Sunday all day.

Different day different mood, most days I wake up listening to Moby.

Movies. I love movies, my top three are Forrest Gump, Shawshank redemption and Les miserables. I have plenty of movies downloaded and if there's something you want to watch I could download it before hand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left the UK never to return. Seriously I've done lots in my life it would be unfair to other amazing experiences I've had to just list one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my photography skills and photo editing. For those on a first trip to China I could teach some basic Chinese, although my Chinese isn't great but I can get by OK.

I have a Ukulele if anyone would like to show me how to play it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences of travelling and working around the world. I'm able to order tickets, book taxis or arrange hotels for future travel plans. I can also bring my camera along and take photographs.
