ABOUT ME

Well I'm a 21 year old man, lived in Dublin my whole life and I'm only starting to explore what's further afield. I'm very interested in learning about other cultures and ways of life. I love to learn about what life is like in other places, either by going to the place itself, or failing that, talking to a local.

Political activism is fairly important to me, and I'm very involved in the Irish left, I like going to anti racism workshops, as well as other progressive causes. I've even started two charities of my own, an anti racism charity, and a group that cleans up litter in my community most weeks.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I don't have any space to host surfers at the moment, but I'm more than happy to meet up with surfers to show them around Dublin, as long as the first round is on them!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was with my girlfriend Claire in the wonderful city of Bruges! I fell in love with the city! And the concept of couch surfing.

I don't read nearly as much as I should, something I'm aiming to change soon. I do read a fair amount of non fiction. Marx, Engels, Chomsky, Dawkins, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've overcome severe OCD, as well as passing my school exams the day after my dad died suddenly.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play guitar, I know a fair amount about Irish politics and history, I can make a great mojito and an even better steak. I can teach people Gaelic football which is one of Ireland's native sports.

I'd love to learn as much as I can about as many topics as I can.
