ABOUT ME

Hey, I am 32 years old, and I am always looking for new experiences.I am working in Print sales (the most fun and action packed line of work), and I miss taking a break to see the world. Next on the list are South America and Antarctica, Those are the last 2 continents for me. I hope to have been on all 7 some day. I tend to be an easy going guy, always willing to have a laugh. It would be great to meet you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have participated so far as a surfer while I was in New Zealand, Australia, and even a little while home in the States. I want to be a host, but sadly am quite far from a major city, but some day someone will need a hand and I hope to be there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have participated in many CS events that have led me to sail on the Pacific Ocean for five days and nights, climb two active volcanos in one day with seventy other CSers (we made the news with that one), and many more wonderful opportunities.

Interests

This may seem like a cop out, but I am interested in finding new interests. I like trying new things, even if they are not for me. You never know when you will find that one thing that you will be interested in for the rest of your life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stone Henge/Buckingham Palace/Tower of London/ and the streets of London in the United Kingdom. Great Pyramids/sailing on the Nile/Mt. Sinai in Egypt. Volcanoes/black sand beaches/multi-tier waterfalls/ over 200 miles of backcountry hiking with unending natural beauty in New Zealand. The harbor bridge/ Jenolan Caves/Blue Mountains in Sydney/Crazy scavenger hunts in Canberra/ food from everywhere in the world/high quality graffiti in Melbourne. Taj Mahal/Hanging out with Elephants/the Blue City/the Pink City/accidentally coming withing 8 kilometers of the Dalai Lama (did not get to see him though) in India.Hiking the terraced hills/Eating exquisite food/The streets of Kathmandu/Flying in a little prop plane as close to Mt. Everest as we could in Nepal.
