I just moved to Allston, a neighborhood in Boston, MA near Fenway and Harvard. I grew up in Albuquerque, NM and lived Breaking Bad, and I've backpacked across Europe.

Perhaps it is Mark Twain's opinion that I share: "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."

I play guitar and read the news, I am somewhat of a google.news and NYTimes addict. And recently reddit. I also enjoy cycling, mountain biking, hiking, golf, backpacking, video games, and drawn out conversations of philosophy with tasty beverages.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Pulp Fiction (all Quentin Tarantino movies except Jackie Brown), The Great Escape (any Steve McQueen movie really), Star Wars (pretty much any decent sci-fi film), and irreverent stand-up comedy specials (Louis CK, Daniel Tosh, Eddie Izzard etc).

Thoreau's "Walden" made me inspired. Orwell's "1984" made me think. Hitchen's "God is not Great" made me question. Steve Jobs' biography was like chloroform though.

There should be a separate website devoted to my love of music. Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, the Stones, the Black Keys, John Mayer (the John Mayer Trio with Pino Palladino and Stanley Jordan, not that "Your Body is a Wonderland" radio pollution), Cream, Muse, some Gun's and Roses, the Beatles ... everything I like to play guitar with when no one is around.

I've flown some planes and met Harrison Ford at the Oshkosh airshow. I listened to Eddie Izzard talk about the Scottish independent vote in Trafalgar Square, London. I wrote, sang, played, recorded, produced, and published an album myself. I made a hot pocket that was not too hot on the outside nor frozen on the inside.
