Overview
About Me
I love to go on adventures! I like to explore abandoned things, find new and weird looking trees in the forest, cook without recipes, meet new people, and dance. I recently finished studying political science and computer science at UC Berkeley, and have a habit of peppering my sentences with Californian slang.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
On an ideological level, I really believe in sharing economies and creating spaces where people can exchanges goods outside of capital interactions.
On a personal level, I've found couch-surfing to be really really fun! I love meeting new people and It's exciting to be able to share a couch, experiences, conversation with random folks from around the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books books books! I love books, especially smart science fiction and fantasy books. "His Dark Materials" trilogy, Harry Potter, Anything by Ursula K. Lequin or Neil Gaiman. Other authors I've read more than one thing by and deeply enjoyed (favorites in parentheses): Fitzgerald (Tender is the Night), Morrison (Song of Solomon), Murakami (1Q84), Vonnegut (Breakfast of Champions), Delillo (Cosmopolis), Hesse (Siddharta), Dick (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep).
Music is for sharing, so I rarely listen in headphones. Honestly, no matter what you're listening to, I'd rather listen to your music than have mine playing into my ears alone. If I had radio stations centered around songs/artists/genres they would be (ie these are my Pandora stations): Deep House, Tame Impala, Glitch Mob, Hideaway, Earth Wind & Fire, MGMT, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Gustav Holst, Reggaeton, Cool Jazz, Latin Pop Classics, Ratatat, Passion Pit, Matisyahu, Bob Marley, Trip Hop, Trance, Mac Dre, The Beatles.
Smart movies are fun too. Let's watch one :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lost my boots in Alice Springs.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make pancakes like my Dad makes em, how a computer works, how to code, how to make plum wine like you're 17 and have no other way to get alcohol.
