Overview
About Me
I'm Jacob! I am a student at UVa studying architecture and environmental science. I'm easygoing and I'll eat pretty much anything except bananas.
My mom inspired my love for traveling and taught me the importance of meeting people from all walks of life. My goal is to see as much of the world as I can and be comfortable traveling on my own. It seems like the couchsurfing community is a great group of people to help me accomplish both!
The idea of opening your home to a stranger for no reason or payment other than goodwill is such a rare concept. I want to take advantage of this spirit of hospitality and I hope to be able to pay it back soon and host travelers in my own home one day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people and be a part of this global community of generosity

What I Can Share with Hosts
The least I can offer is convenience! I won't be in your way or bother you! I'm happy to come and go as quietly and independently as you'd like! On the opposite side, I love getting to know people and am happy to help cook, clean, or do some work to earn my keep!
