ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year old American student, currently living and studying in Vienna, Austria. I really eager to meet new people, and welcome any chance to do so. I'm only here for 5 more weeks, so if anyone wants to grab a coffee or a bite to eat, or stroll through Vienna, please let me know.

PHILOSOPHY

Tolkien said, "All who wander are not lost," and I truly believe that. I like to wander and explore, but I'm not lost, I know my direction and it is to find out more about the world, humanity, and culture. In turn I hope to find out more about myself. I'm a very honest and truthful person. I really believe my life philosophy, if you will, can be captured in two quotes of Henry David Thoreau:
--"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away."

--"Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm really not too involved yet, I just set up my account while traveling, so I unfortunately don't have a couch to offer yet, but as soon as I get home you can count on it. I've meet with the Vienna Couch Surfers group once, and really enjoyed it. Check it out, it's pretty great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went Ice Skating at the Rathaus in Vienna with the Vienna Couch Surfers.

Interessen

Hiking, anything outdoors, history, wine, traveling, and backpacking. I really like just talking with people, finding out more about them, and their interests. People are really fascinating.
