About Me
Je sais pas quand je pouvrai avoir plus de personnes chez moi, mais si vous parlez français, je aimerais prendre un café et pratiquer mon français. Je peux vous aider avec n'importe quoi vous voulez faire à Chicago.
I play guitar and watch a lot of standup, and I'm always up for a good beer. After college I moved near Detroit to play guitar with a friend for a year. After that I spent most of the next year in Quebec slowly improving my French. Now I work at a hostel here in Chicago. So if you stay with me, you'd be welcome to come on our nightly event to local bars, and I always have coupons to Lou Malnati's (Chicago deep-dish style pizza) and tickets to Kingston Mines (A good blues bar in the Lincoln Park neighborhood).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I took my first trip outside the U.S. last summer and had a blast. I worked and stayed in a hostel in Montreal. The best part about traveling was hanging out with other travelers. I'd love to continue exploring Chicago with some new people.
Travelers are more exciting than regular people.
Interests
Finding new hangouts in Chicago. Cooking. Trying new dark beers. Comedy shows. Blues. French.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved away from the beautiful state of Oregon to start travelling this big country.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always interested in a language exchange. I spend a lot of my free time learning French.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook like a champ (vegetarian). I play guitar if you want to jam or just listen along. And I always enjoy a language exchange (Swap my english for your french?). I'm also gifted in math and sciences if you need any help with your homework. And I'm a great partner for enjoying some beers.
