I have used couchsurfing before to travel on the cheap with friends. I just made this profile so that I can keep traveling on my own. I love the couchsurfing community and once I find a place to live with roommates who are open to having guests, I plan to open my couch up to fellow travellers.
Right now I'm looking for a place to stay in Washington, D.C at the start of August. A friend of mine is going to a convention for a socialist youth group; I'm just along for the ride.
