ABOUT ME
I recently graduated from Claremont and am heading off to see a new part of the globe before settling into the working world. I'm very outdoors-oriented, love hiking and biking, and for connecting with new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's all about the people. While any vacation can take you to a new place to see the sights, Couchsurfing enables you to actually meet new people and make connections that can last a lifetime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We hiked out onto the Kjeragboltn in Norway last summer: a huge boulder suspended in a canyon several thousand meters deep - it was an amazing adrenaline rush.
On the flip side, I helped publish the first renewable energy trade report for the US Commercial Service in Peru in 2013.
I also biked from Portland to Seattle in a day last summer: it was exhausting but completely worthwhile.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share ideas. I've been involved with environmental activism for quite a few years, and really enjoy talking with folks about their perspectives on it. I also love to cook: if you have a recipe to share, I'll swap you one-for-one. Plus I always enjoy swapping stories, and am even starting to compile some of the stories I've recorded into a bit of an oral history project: I'd love to share.
