About Me

CURRENT MISSION
At the moment I'm on a 4 month Summer break from University. I've been to a few festivals, worked as a Hotel Receptionist and am headed to Morocco for 7 weeks to Travel and Surf! I'm hoping to get a good feel for the Moroccan lifestyle, relax and improve by very basic surfing and french skills.

ABOUT ME

I'm 20 and currently studying Economics and Geography at University College London and living in London with 3 great housemates! I've been raised in the UK all my life and with a dad in the hotel industry have had the absolute blessing to visit a lot of places around the world. Some highlights have been Mongolia, Myanmar and Ghana. This has sparked a love for travel, exploring and the great outdoors.

I'm a sociable person and absolutely love meeting new people; I really think you can never have too many friends and am always keen to make more. I've made loads of friends from all over the world whilst travelling in the last few years and have really enjoyed staying in touch, hosting and visiting them.

PHILOSOPHY
In my relatively short life so far I've had so many great experiences and done some incredible things. I want to spend the next how ever many years meeting more great people, travelling to new places, broadening my horizons and above all having a good time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up to Couchsurfing so I can meet more people, especially locals whilst travelling. For me, couch surfing is such a good way to learn more about a place you're visiting and get a really authentic feel of the place, it's people and culture.

I would also love the chance to show off the incredible city of London that I live in. I like the idea of hosting a real mix of interesting people and add some excitement to my house and life as I'm studying for the year!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't had any experience with Couchsurfing yet, but have hosted backpackers whilst living in Ghana and also hosted/visited many people I've met on my travels.

Interests

I love to socialise and meet up with friends; catching up or discussing anything and everything over a few drinks at the pub!

I'm a huge lover of the outdoors; I rock climb, surf(ish), cycle, hike, run and try not to fall off my skateboard.

Studying Geography and Economics I'm interested in a lot of issues surrounding these subjects; energy sustainability andInternational Development and am a massive Map geek.
