About Me

Free Thinker - Beer Drinker - Hook Line and Sinker

'Carpe Nocturn'
Seize not just the day, but also the night!

Travelling is something that is becoming more and more prevalent in my life. Other than getting to see amazing cities and places, more importantly to em you meet amazing people who will generally have the biggest impact on you.

At the moment I'm backpacking Europe for 7 months and have already had so many incredible experiences and met so many people and can't wait for the rollercoaster to continue.

I'm a pretty easy going casual kind of guy and I'm an environmentalist but I won't force it upon you ;) I'm always up for a chat and hearing peoples stories and don't mind the occasional drink or two.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing for me was a new concept just prior to my big trip. I had a lot of people recommend it to me so thought I'd have a look. This is one of the best decisions I have made so far this trip. I've met so many people who have really had an impact on me and I hope to keep in touch with them for as long as possible.

I've had many people stay with me over the years but not as official couch surfing so I'm really looking forward to getting into when I get home as I know how helpful it can be to travellers and how rewarding it is.

Interests

I enjoy music, going out, meeting new people, playing guitar, snowboarding trying to surf, sailing, beers new experiences, sharing stories, cooking and trying my best to help others out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Far too many to count but I love all of the above, in particular reading biographies of interesting people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to pick one specific one as I've been so lucky so far in my life however going up the Jungfraujoch in Switzerland was an incredible experience that I'll never forget and think it will be hard to find something comparable. Only regret is I didn't get to board back down the mountain!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have had a lot of people help me try to learn other languages so I am always happy to share any of knowledge if people want to hear it (if not just tell me to shut up!). I've also had some pretty cool experiences and done some pretty funny (and sometimes stupid) things which are always good for a laugh.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not too bad a cook and am more than happy to clean up. I also have some funny stories and am good at being quite if you need me to be :)
