ABOUT ME

I have very broad interests, and truly enjoy a variety of activities. I enjoy reading, and the books I have read have had a huge impact on my life. Some of the authors are: Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Einstein, F.A. Hayek, Milton Friedman, G. Edward Griffin, Thomas E. Woods, Dr. Ron Paul, J.K. Rowling, J.D. Fitzgerald, Michael Crichton, G.A. Henty, Joan Aiken, Frederic Bastiat, the Kennedy Brothers, Adam Smith, Keith Robertson, the list goes on. The Bible has a lot of authors that I can't name.

I have played some competitive sport for most of my life, which also has had a profound influence on my personality. Soccer & Tennis are my favorites, but swimming and golf and volleyball are a lot of fun too. I love skiing, lived in Summit County, Colorado for a ski season. Also learned to snowboard.

I like movies, I had netflix for a while and took full advantage of it. The Office, Dexter, 30 Rock, Seinfeld, Jeopardy, Castle are among my favorite TV shows.

PHILOSOPHY

Help Family & Friends as much as possible. Meet new people and see new places. Defend honesty, justice, and personal liberty. Increase awareness about Austrian Economics and Free Markets, promote fiscal responsibility on a personal and governmental level.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like trying new things and meeting new people. I try to go out of my way to make other people happy (i think) and I can't think of a time when I've lost a good friend due to a disagreement.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed on many occasions, not necessarily through the website. I drove from Georgia to colorado without a place to live, and slept on a couch for three nights while finding an apt. Met the guy on campus at the Colorado School of Mines, he was a life saver.

I am willing to host, but the opportunity has never really presented itself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked to the top of a 14 thousand foot mountain, and the view from the top was indescribably beautiful. Magnificent. I have not seen the same color blue anywhere.
