Overview
About Me
Hello guys, I’m Jakob, from Germany. I’m curious to meet people and explore new perspectives on life.
After completing my training as a physiotherapist, I’m excited to enjoy my freedom again. Over the next month, I’ll be traveling through Europe and am looking forward to having some great experiences along the way.
My goal is to explore different perspectives on life and find inspiration for my own.
I would describe myself as an easygoing, friendly, and calm person. At first, I might be a bit reserved, but once I feel comfortable, I love to talk about life, nature, the human body, photographie (analogue and digital), and more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a great way to get to know people from other countries better and experience their culture and way of life. It's not just about finding a place to stay, but also about learning from each other, and sharing good times together.
Interests
I nearly love to do every kind of sports including a ball or just moving the body.
Especially I do like Roundnet, volleyball, yoga, biking and acrobatics.
Also I love to spend time in nature with hiking or running.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to music, but I often don’t know the artist or the title. What I do know is that I enjoy chilled downtempo music and I think it’s called Indie for chilling, as well as some melodic techno or drum and base, especially when I’m out partying.
Over the past years I become more open and interested in like all kinds of music, so I would like to hear your favorite song :)
I recently watched two films that I found both good and inspiring:
The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind
Forrest Gump
Books:
Breath - James Neston
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing that comes directly in my mind: Sleeping on top of a mountain in Sweden while the sun never sets, it was beautiful!
Teach, Learn, Share
Im interested in learning harmonica and everything that has something to do with breathing and movement.
For example acroyoga, calisthenics, yoga.
I could teach you something about the human body and show you how to find tender spots during a massage.
I can also teach you how to knit a pair of wool socks.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
