Hi, my name is Jakob. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Currently i'm studying actuarial science at Copenhagen University. Apart from school i'm a student worker at an insurance agency. I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing basketball, board games, billiard and likewise. If i have the time or if i have friends over i also really enjoy cooking. Like a true Dane I bike everywhere and am conscious to stay fit.

My interests regarding travelling are various; I enjoy relaxing vacations to warm destinations as well as city touring experiences and sport related holidays. Growing up my family has always been very well-travelled. In fact I was born in Texas, USA and have been travelling on my own or with family repeatedly throughout my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason for joining Couchsurfing was the awesome interrail trip i went on with my friend Charlotte a couple of years ago. We found some great hosts and met many interesting people from all over the world.
Since then I have opened up my home to travellers through couchsurfing to experience it from the other side.

I hope to keep meeting interesting people from all around the world both by traveling and hosting :)
