Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I studied musicology of popular music in Giessen and am now traveling to New Zealand to broaden my mind in work and travel.

Interests

I am an outgoing guy and a sucker for music, games and nerdy stuff. I could play board, card and video games all day long, read comic books or have long conversations about those kind of things. But I wouldn`t travel to New Zealand just to hang around playing games, I like to see and meet new people and am happy to make new friends and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like very different styles of music but what nearly all of them have in common are that they`re "handmade". genres i listen to most are post rock, hc/metal/loud stuff and ambient/indie/quiet stuff - i`m a friend of contrasts and extremes! ;)
The same goes for books and movies: my favorite films are twisted thrillers or dramas, which make you think and rewatch them with another perspective. My favorite book may be "Das Handwerk der Freiheit", a well thought out and researched take on the freedom of the human mind or any freedom at all.
