Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Jakob. I grew up in Germany and have been living in 4 different countries until now. Currently living in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, doing a PhD in development economics and enjoying the place and the people here.
I am a quite communicative and easy-going person and I like to think that I am rather open-minded as well. I love to meet new people and share experiences which brings a lot of joy into my life. In general, I do not need much to be happy and relaxed.
I am happy to help with anything that might come up at a host's home and also to chip in a financial support. At the moment I am living with family, so accepting guests depends on them as well. But there is normally a free room available, just contact me and we will see!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me this is an amazing opportunity to meet local people, have a personal conversation, share experiences and expand the exchange economy instead of buying a room.
