Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some. But there's a saying that the ones who can't make friends in real life are probably just not supposed to have any friends at all. So when I'm travelling I usually meet people on the street, and you should maybe also try it that old fashioned way as well. It's just more fun. But since it is often easier to find a couch for the first days via internet, I'd be glad to help you out here. And of course I'd be very happy if you could help me out when I'm new in your town.

I also try to help people here via the Hamburg St. Pauli Workers' Association. As good as I can, which depends on where I am. So if you have a problem, if no one else can help, and all this happens to be in St. Pauli, join the HSPWA and maybe you can hire the A-Team.

Movies: Anything with a good story.

Music: Rhythm 'n Brass, which is Balkan Brass, 50s Rhythm 'n Blues, Swing, Klezmer, Russian Folk, Soul, Ska, Cumbia, and of course, Punk Rock.

Books: I read mainly sociological stuff these days, but I really like American, Irish and Russian literature. Tell me everything about it, my new super friend, all day long and we will have a great time.
