One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How clear the stars are in the outback of Australia, on the steps of Mongolia, and a local Tibetan roof top underneath mount Everest in the Himalayas away from the cities' light pollution. Viewing the landscape from the top of Ayers Rock (even though I would have thought twice of doing it if I had known it was sacred to the aboriginals) or feeling the utter silence of the Namibian desert.
